Hey guys, been lurking on here for a while but only recently made an account.

I did timing belt on my 3.0 GTV without much problems, I am unsure of one thing though, is the timing belt supposed to be that tight when the tensioner's two marks align with eachother? It seems too tight to me, and I've searched everywhere to get an answer for a more or less a guideline on how tight it should be and no one has discussed this by the looks of things. I do not want to experience premature belt failure due to over tensioning it.

That's where it is, I was just concerned that it was too tight, because the timing belt is too tight. Just wanted a confirmation from someone that it should indeed be like that.
