Our old 145 is up for sale by the current owner. Very tidy car with momo leather. When I had it I didn't realise that it was a 2 litre but knew it went like a rocket! I did the timing belt(s) for Alasdair as a favour and spotted the balancer belt

Good solid example in great condition. Would be worth travelling for....

With only 2 months MOT its realistically only worth half what he's asking. £1k is 147 money nowadays. If he puts a new MOT on it then it may sell for that, but whenever I look at 145s for sale with no MOT or only a short MOT, I just immediatly think "rotten".

Definitely not rotten. It had the usual floor pan issues when I bought it but they were properly welded and suitably protected. Front wishbones are only 18 months old as well.

Not my car anymore but I can't think of any reason why it would fail an MoT.

The seller will need to put 12 months on it then if he wants a realistic chance of selling it for that sort of money, cars with short MOT need to be cheaper than the average to sell.

Good price for a good car, personally I would have put a years ticket on it and asked for around ~£1200 for it.
