Spent a enjoyable few hours at the above mentioned establishment this morning / early afternoon, invited by the owner Cheng Lim who's rather partial to a bit of 'American Muscle'.....

Thunder Road Cars | Road and Race Car Modifications | Muscle Cars | Classic Cars | Race Cars | London, UK

A bit like the Alfa Workshop / Autolusso but for Cobras / Classics / etc :lick:

I went along with a few fellow 'Mopar' owners (Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler) but we also knew a few of the other guys (GTO, Camaro, Chevy II etc). That's my 63 Dodge, if you can spot it :wink_org:

Rather than adding all the pics here as attachments you'll have to make do with this slideshow, if you're interested :read:

I want almost every car I can see.

I suspect I really like the purple Charger with the bonnet scoops - but it only appears on the periphery of a couple of your photos.

From the top, your Dodge is looking good. The paint on the Chevy II looks flawless, the dog rough Thunder Road Plymouth is awesome, the gold 1st gen Camaro is lovely, green Challenger hard as nails, C10 stepside equally so.

Why are those pics not in the porn thread?

White Mustang :inlove: and the adjacent Barracuda. Quite like the purple Firebird too.
Great pics and what seemed a fab meet/event

Thanks Keith, you're right about the black Chevy's paint, and it's been like that for at least 10 years since it was done, possibly a lot more.

Likewise the black GTO and the red 'cuda. Perfect

BTW - I didnt think about the Car Porn thread - it's just another car meet for me, like I've been attending for 30+ years :wow:

Yes Malc, that white Mustang was gorgeous and it sounded just like Steve McQ's in Bullitt!

Red (Barra)cuda is the business, esp with the red interior! Quite rare too, esp over here (440 cu in, 3x2 bbl carbs). It's going to be on Classic American's stand at the NEC next month too.

Purple Firebird? Do you men the blue Firebird or the Purple Demon? ;)

Sorry Bazza, my bad! My son got a decent pic of it amongst his pics here:

Oh and it's a 1971 Dodge Demon by the way :wink_org:
So it is. Now I see it properly, I'm back to liking the 'Cuda more (fickle, sorry!)

Pretty sure I've seen that metallic grey Charger at a meet at the Krispy Kreme by the Trafford Centre in the past. Don't remember the number plate, but there can't be many around in that colour and that condition!

Pretty sure I've seen that metallic grey '68 Charger at a meet at the Krispy Kreme by the Trafford Centre in the past. Don't remember the number plate, but there can't be many around in that colour and that condition!

Funny you should say that bazza...

I know who owns that metallic grey 68 Charger and I'm 99.999999999999999999% sure that he wouldn't have ventured as far as that Krispy Kreme meet from where he lives in Hertfordshire, but....

MalcQV on here, who has also chipped in here is good friends with the owner of a '70 Charger in a similar colour who does go to that Trafford Centre meet. There are distinct difference between the 68 & 70 (front & rear lights) but at first glance or from just the side, they would look almost the same!

What do you reckon Malc? :read:

Let me drag out the photos I took of it. It was a couple of years ago, so I could easily be wrong...

You're quite right. Clearly a different car. I'd jumped to a conclusion about the likely rarity.

Bullitt. I will have one, one day. My pal Simon keeps getting on at me and reminding me as such. :D

Met blue Firebird, no idea where I got purple from.

They are quite rare in the UK. The colour is unique on Simon's.

Two pics of my Pal Simon's 70' Charger. First one is at Didsbury this year. The red Charger lives in Astley just around the corner from where I live. Pass it (though it's garaged) every day going to work. A beaut. My Pal's is the one on the right. The guy with his back to us owns the red one.
Second photo is old, Simon has had the Charger since 2005 IIRC and this was early on with the original wheels he had on when he bought it. I think they are Cragars now?

It is Simon's Charger you see at KK. Keep meaning to go myself as I have not been in about 12 months.
I believe the original colour is a pale green metallic but it was repainted in California where it had lived up until about 2002 I think. He could tell you the correct name.

Going through them again.

The fuel injected 427 would look lovely in my living room.

The Dodge Dart(?) with the flatted paint would look great on my drive.
