Hi All,

I've been given a set of Thule Universal 750 Roof Bars from a Mercedes A Class. My Alfa is a 2001 Sportwagon without roof rails. The rails appear to fit the roof, but the clamps that fit into the door shuts stop the doors from closing.

Does anyone know if the metals clamps are specific to each car, and therefore I'll be able to buy these seperately?

The Thule site doesn't appear to list the sportwagon without roof rails at all in their fitment guide. Anyone else desecrated their Alfa with a roof rack and got any ideas?

Cheers

750 refers to the foot pack. Your A Class bars should be 761 or 861 which are the correct length bars but you will need a fitting kit that goes onto the fixing points under the door seals. It should be the same kit as the 4 door.

I spoke to my local dealership for Thule today, and they said that there was a kit for the 4 door (Part no: 1070).

I'm sure this must be the same for the sportwagon. The roof and doors can't be that different surely?
