Hi, yesterday had engine light come on and car GTV V6 '99 lost power into limp mode, managed to get home. Ran Alfadiag and codes p1120 (Throttle valve pedal plausibility or Throttle valve pedal spring control or Throttle valve actuator protection )and p0120 ( Throttle valve potentiometer signal not valid )came up.
Does anyone have any ideas, sometimes the car will run ok after a throttle reset, key to MAr for 90 secs etc, most of the time returns to limp mode with no power.
Spoke to Jamie Porter suggested white connection from pedal potentiometer. Anyone else had a similar problem, any advice pics etc greatly welcomed as will try and sort out tommorrow.

Not convinced it's the white connector, have looked at it and no corrosion also with car idling after a throttle reset playing around with it does not cause it to go into limp mode, only when I press the accelerator does it cut straight into limp mode, any ideas? also get the cut out code.

thanks mc,
interesting mine used to be an intermittent fault with slight loss of power now seems to be permanent with no power only get revs up to idle speed. When looking at the connector earlier something was a bit odd there are 12 wires going into the connector from the pedal end and only 11 going out towards the ecu??? will have a look again in the morning, may solder the wires although not sure what gto do with the 12th one, and prob have a look inside the Throttle pot in the engine.
