hi guys,


I have been reading up on the issues that are occurring with my 156 2.0ts, the problems are that the engine is not idling correctly and that when i am driving around i will find that the car will start to pull back and then i get a power kick back in, i have been lead to believe that this is being caused by the throttle position sensor on the side of the throttle body.
I have been trying to find another one to replace mine with and it doesnt have to be new as i would quite happily try one of another 2.0 ts engine.

Could anyone help or advise?

Could be sorted with a reset, worth a try as it is free.
Also is your car a fly by wire system or cable?

i would believe its a cable as i have a cable running up to the side of the throttle body!?
so doesn't that mean i cant do the reset?
Just so you know it's a 2.0 TS 2000 in the year and its a standard not JTS or Selespeed.
