My mrs has been borrowing my 145 QV for the last 2 weeks, as her car has broken down (Oh the irony).

I received a text from her a couple days later saying that she loves the car, is addicted to the noise and she finds it so much fun.

Its nice to hear some good feedback about an Alfa for once !

Yeah but.. that means you must've never taken her out in it AND you also didn't ever try to convert her from out of her VW.. :tut: :D

You could now offer to buy her one, of course..

Haha - shes been out in it a few times, on spirited drives with me (well i always drive it in a spirited fashion anyway). I think she just needed to experience the alfaness on her own :)

Strike while the iron is hot (or before the iron throws an electrical problem.. :D)

Sell her old donkey and buy her a Cloverleaf.. :)

Oh.. and spend the difference on a holiday for yourself with your mates to Ayia Napa... :D

I think Ralf's onto something, here.

If I may be so bold as to make another suggestion, along the same lines:

- Flog her non-Alfa car.
- Give her the 145 QV.
- Buy yourself a 147 GTA.

This way, everyone wins. :D You can still drive the 145 anytime you like, and you get to play with a new toy.
