I had the spider out for a test drive yesterday, after a repair at the front of the engine. Everything was going fine there was a kind of metallic noise, like a spanner or something hitting the underneath of the car. I know this is probably off a tractor as I live next to a farm but will ask anyway. Could this bit be from a 2003 Alfa spider as its not going into gear with the engine running now.

Definately not an alfa part.

What where you fixing at the front of the engine? It sounds like clutch hydraulics to me. Is it a tspark or a v6?

Its a 20L JTS, it was the plastic engine cooler pipe at the front of the engine, the only other thing that got removed was the AC compressor. The clutch fluid is at the right level. Clutch pedal is very soft to push down. Will try bleeding it. Thanks
