Posted this in the newbies thread a while back, but never on here, so here's my MiTo. (my first car!) Me getting an Alfa was a decision slightly influenced by my father who may also be a member here...
Hi all, past owner of a gt blackline for 6 years. Dropped it to it's new owner in the Midlands yesterday, and continued on my way to pick up a 2018 Stromboli Grey Veloce Giulia from the North.
What a car and what a pleasure to drive back to Cork in!
Same dealer sold a red veloce to a corkman recently, and i met another forum member to look over his misano blue one, so at least 3 i know of in the county, all imported.
Bought from Donnelly Motors, if anyone wants dealer contact let me know, he was brilliant. First car i asked about wasn't suitable as would have been liable for vat and customs...when he got a suitable one in he was straight onto me, so i had a week or so headstart before it went up online.

Hello! Well wear on the new Giulia! Did you deal with Jonathon in Donnelly Group near Mallusk? They were brilliant to deal with. I got a Veloce there from them a few weeks back.
I've had a 159 for almost 14 years now and needed to upgrade to newer car. The plan was to sell the 159... but just couldn't. So put an insurace policy on the 159 too. My son will need a car to learn how to drive in a few years away so it made sense to keep the 159 right? Oh he's 12 at the moment.
EDIT :: PS hello to all on here - haven't been online in a while! 🙋‍♂️ Hello
That is mad, yes because when I was talking with the dealer in Belfast there a few weeks back he mentioned he had sold another blue Giulia down to Cork too. With the new VAT / customs charges that makes buying from UK out out from now on... but he's sold quite a few cars south in the last few months.
He has a very nice QV up there in the showroom too - very nice!
Not sure which shade of red is the favorite tho tbh..
I'll add another member to the Cork Giulia import gang, don't think I ever actually posted it here after getting it.
Got mine at the end of November last year from England.
Brexit really forced my hand, delighted I finally have one now. Hope to see some of ye on the road.
I've only passed one Black Giulia since getting mine.
hahaha ! the indicators !! - so it's either one of two issues (1) been driving for 5 miles with the left indicator on or (2) can't reach it with the gear-down-shift lever in the way..

Brought this beautiful Giulia south to its new home in Cork this weekend. Very well looked after by the previous owner and to say I am delighted to own another Alfa is an understatement.
