As it seems a fair few lincs members are based in or near to Peterborough, it might be nice to share some recommendations on local forms that do good car based work.

If I may start with two firms I have actually used recently.

First is Monarch automotive monarch automotive

Used to be Perkins Engines service department. They maintain the ambulances and fire engines in Peterborough and also have a Hunter wheel alignment setup which is the absolute poodles plums especially if you have any suspension mods.

Second is Peterborough bodyshop Peterborough bodyshop Very good quality derusting on my car, brilliant paint spraying and looks brill. Over on the west side on the city, in the industrial bit behind the cinema McDonalds.

Anyone else got any good, tested firms to share?

PS I have no connection to these firms, just impressed by service and quality of work.

Thanks for the recommendation on monarch. I found them online as a hunter approved alignment centre so was thinking about giving them a call to check the TI's setup. Will Definately do that now!

I took the 159 to Monarch the other day for its 4 Wheel Alignment on their Hunter rig. Very impressed with the place. Clean as a whistle, almost F1 like! You know your in the right place when they have an ambulance and a couple of panda cars on the ramps.

Service was excellent, very friendly and professional. Great value too. A 4 wheel alignment is charged at £20 per wheel and they only bill you for each wheel they have to align rather than a fixed fee. They spent 3 hours on the job and the car handles amazingly now! very recommended.
