Same again, the GT feels so much more special than its modest price tag would suggest

I think the rarity factor has some influence plus other peoples reaction ,had many positive comments about the car, possibly others admire your bravery given Alfa's somewhat unfair reputation !

The GT was my third best Alfa. However I have only ever had three and the GT is the one I no longer own :lol: it, unlike the OP's was not a V6 else it would have been the best!

I do like Italian cars generally though. I've started late in life with them (mid life actually,.. crisis anyone? ).

That should have been Alfas - plural, as the current garage contains both a MiTo diseasel and a 916 Spider Busso.
