The answer to a question you may have asked

I hadn't asked the question, but I've been following the facebook posts on the build. I have to admit that whilst wondering why, I have to admit the standard of execution is excellent.

Dont have FB.....but would like to see more pics to see if it's really as ugly as it could potentially be in that pic.....

Have you never seen a Brera ?
In the flesh.

Of course....fixed/serviced a few to.....but I don't think they were ever meant to be a 4 door!

Has anyone EVER asked what a 5-door Brera would look like? I certainly haven't, I'd just get a Sportwagon TI.

The lighting, colour and alloys of the Brera aren't helping in that pic, the deformed one is getting all the glory.

oooh.. that will look challenging.. love the brera and the 159.... as themselves..

hmm.. Gotta say the the CLS AMG spec is a nice place to be in and they shift / handle well .. As for the little CLA one is just meh, in the flesh the CLA overhang on the nose is awful.. looks like an anteater mk1 CLA was better and much prettier imho.

The main problem in MO is the C Pilar... The hood and the back of the car hasn't got harmony in the shape.

Anyways... What a titanic job.

MO...my opinion, cue.

I can marvel at the workmanship in creating such a car but as I never liked the Brera, chopping its arse off (worse bit) and welding it to a 159 doesn't do anything for me.

It's in a lovely red. Is that 8C Red?

It just doesn't work. As someone who prefers the shape of the 159 saloon to the Brera I would go as far to say that it has been ruined.
