Hi guys, been a bit busy lately, but thanks for the advice.
Windscreen washers now working, much better with all this bad weather. Not sure what actually solved it but tried some of the suggestions and Hey Presto…Thanks.
Fletch, please can I have some contact details for your guy in Lymm, or any other recommendations from anyone in the Manchester area.
Tyres are now at 36f and 34r and seem to be ok. Soft backend not sorted yet, but seem to be learning a bit about springs & dampers from you folks.
However, like a few people, not loaded at the mo, just bought the car, work to be done on it, and having back yard redesigned to accommodate 3 cars off road, etc etc, so any advice on the best compromise with ride and price would be much appreciated. Mine is N 95 2.0l ts, and yes you lot were right about my tyre sizes 205/50 R15. Whoops.
One last thing, passed a 1.8ts Preg parked up on my way to work this a.m. 16” 5 spoke wheels, 205/45 tyres, 5x,000 mls in proteo red for £1950. It looked ok, but was pissing it down, so didn’t hang around long, but if anyone would like the guy’s name or number, let me know and I’ll see if it’s still around when I can.
Thanks for help so far, ciao for now.
