Posted this yesterday (I think).
But haven't received a response? - where on this site should I look I am a 'dumbo' but car has been off the road for months now and need some serious help!
I'll repeat the story: Cooked my 156 selespeed, replaced head and fires up fine. BUT after 5-10 mins when engine warms up it the revs 'hunt'/'surge' up & down.
Obviously cannot to be driven. My inde mechanic and I are going MAD...therfore went to dealer for diagnostics check - shows nothing. They could only suggest trial and error costing **** knows!!
Done air intake smoke test all OK.

Please help...e-mail me on [email protected] too please. and if you have responded before sorry - MARK

If it were me, I'd opt to go for a electronic diagnostics experts opinion. One who perhaps uses the full Pico oscilloscope. or similar, for an in depth diagnosis.:):

has nothing to do with Selespeed... only makes the reputation even worse (if that is possible) you cooked your engine and now the ECU is knackered I'm afraid.
