I may need a live feed, that's switched with the lights, so when lights are on (side lights or dipped beam) I get a feed, it's only for a very small current, but hwere is the best place to tap into? Ashtray light?

The reason I asked for this is that the interior light from a Mito fits nicely instead of the one from the 156 and looks much nicer imo. It has 2 small LED downlighters which come on with the lights.

Now the GTA has gone I have a spare Mito light ready for this mod - £15 plus postage...

I looked into doing this a few months back, but was told by Vospers in Exeter it cant be done. Flapdog, have you tried it out? and do the LEDs work?

The interior light works as is, it's just astraight swap.

The down lighters use a separate plug in the light unit and this will need a switched feed - I was going to use the cig lighter for this but never got round to it by the time I sold my car.

I tried the light from my wife's Mito and yes it did work. As I say I do have one (for sale) and I used the reg no from her car to get the right one.

On the standard Alfa headsets, that signal comes from the CAN bus, so not available as a separate connection there...

Gtas don't have CANbus wiring, there will be an illumination wire at the headunit (stereo).

147 GTAs do have a CAN bus
But you're right, I assume it's a 156 ...

156 interior facelift, including the GTA, have CANbus, not with all components connected to the CANbus, but they do have have it.
