That is so insanely cheap. I wonder how they have managed to make these so cheap? By the time the seller has paid VAT, ebay/paypal fees and a courier they will be coming away with £70 if they are lucky. How they are getting the arms so cheap that they can sell them for £70 and make a profit I don't know. They have got to be Chinese or something at that money.

If they last 15,000 miles I will be pleasantly suprised. To be honest if you aren't paying someone to fit these for you then I would say go for it, someone has to try these things to work out if they are good or not.

For upper arms we fit OEM, TRW or Birth. For lowers we fit OEM or Delphi. For droplinks the Firstline ones are actually really good and have flats on them so you can hold the ball joint with a spanner instead of an internal allen socket which always rounds out like the OEM ones do.

i will be fitting them, my local motor factors sell the firstline stuff maybe give that ago then, as those ones on ebay see so cheep its hard to belive there not made out of chocolate

oem top and birth lowers come to £268.00 so think i maybe should wait and get the £100 notes i need to get them then, and firstline drop links ,

If you going to use cheap ones prepare to have to redo them sooner than you'd like (usually at the most inconvenient time when they fail an MOT ..)

Surely that price is wrong??

This is purely my opinion, but at that price I would expect them to be of very poor quality, thus not lasting very long at all. Even fitting them might be a struggle in terms of getting everything lined up.

We are all looking for a bargain in these tough times, but on this one, I'd save the extra money and go for tried and tested items.:)

On the one hand it would be a good idea to try them out so we are all in the 'light'. Incredibly cheap price.

On the other - if people can't afford to maintain a GTA properly, sell up and get something else, I understand it's before Chirstmas and for most times are tough - but no one is forcing you to own this specialist vehicle. That doesn't mean you should get ripped off, on the other hand I believe (without sounding like a snob) that the cars should be maintained with the highest quality parts possible.

Chances are it will be set to fail before it begins, when you end up changing them 3x as frequently as the OEM stuff, so a false economy.

i am going with what pud has said above oem tops and birth lowers
Sorry mate I said Birth uppers and either Delphi or OEM lowers. I don't know if Birth make lower arms as well, we haven't tried them yet. But the Delphi ones are very good and just as easy to fit as OEM.

I looked at the upper ones on ebay a while ago and they had over 100 in stock! so if they buy quantities like that then the cheaper they buy them in for.
I bought a set just to compare them to other oe manufactures and the quality of the bushes and balljoint does not look of feel any lesser qaulity to them. Im going to try them but I do Have another another set just incase.

I personally don't like delphi products, really not found them all that and do not last on german cars but could not say what they are like on Alfa.
Always found TRW or febi to be really good !
