hi guys while changing my brake pads i new there was a slight knocking sound from my front wheel, so when i had the wheel off i got hold off the connection bar between the upper/lower wishbone and it had slight play on it when i tryed to move it.
now is it ment to move or have any play in it when moved by hand.

sorry for not having the technical names but im not a mechcanic???

When it knocks ... it should be a silent blocks issue ... you might like to upgrade only the silent blocks with powerflex front kit ... and you ll carry on for the car's life ... tremendous improvement ;)

im fairly certain that play determines whether the wishbones need to be replaced or not. if there is no play slight modifications can be made to prolong the life of the arms but once play is present i dont think there is any other option than to replace them.
