Hi guys,

I have this weird problem with my petrol 147. You know how they tend to be creaky at cold temps? Well, mine decided to do it while hot...
I have done a bit over 1000 kms during the past few days at quite hot weather (around 36-38°C) and I noticed the following:

I had a few legs on some VERY poor quality roads, so in about 20kms at low speed driving (30-40kph), the suspension started to creak at the front. After the car is stopped for prolonged periods and gets cold, there are no issues. Also, when I got on some better roads with higher speeds maintained, the creaking gradually stopped.
If a car is started from cold and driven on "good" roads, there are no issues even for hundreds of kms.

This has happened only on very hot days, leading me to believe that it's a key factor.

Upper wishbones are 30k kms "old" and the lower ones were changed 15k kms ago.

What may be the cause of this?

Sorry for the long post :)

Thanks for the reply. But why does it happen only in the conditiones mentioned above, hot weather + slow driving on bad roads? When I changed them last time they were always creaking, except when wet.
