Hi everyone, my 156 2.0 petrol surges horrendously... is there any cure or do I just put up with it!

My 166 2.0 surges, but it's my flywheel that's worn out. It's like jerkiness when trying to keep it at a certain speed, or slow moving traffic. Is yours like that or is the engine just not running well?
