Well, you are Richard Burton, aren't you
I was acually born in Mill Hill in London, but my father was from the welsh

coal mining valleys and vales ... am slightly proud of that

but I don't have a welsh accent

I drink whenever I like these days

but................I only drink very modest amounts, I never cane it

Last night, for example, I had 2 cans of beer. Tonight I will probably have 3.

I might be getting old.

I wish I could be so sensible when it comes to pies.

Well, I had a busy Saturday which started with plumbing and involved a football match and a fiery curry.

I downed two pints and went to bed knackered at 0830pm. I've never slept so badly in ages, every single joint is creaking and aching.

Plumbing is never a good way to start any day :(

Although the rest doesn't sound too bad... just cold

The cold gets in the bones

Roll on spring
That is exactly it Geoff - I got pretty wet and cold, then immediately went out and got colder. It really did seep into the old bones.

I've just taken two ibuprofen, and put some coffee on.

Today should be good - morning will be odd jobs/pottering....this affo is mapped out though.

Going to watch Sunderland/Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, then my eldest daughter is coming over and we're all going to watch Field of Dreams (the clear intention is to make me cry), and then Top Gear for a bout of silliness.

:)
