All on all went very well!

Exhaust bolts. - pro gas and go in with with an air gun with the bolts - did the trick!

The one I snapped is the one I used heat and a wrench!

Now. - how the hell am I gonna out it back together lol. ( subframe).

I could:
Use a jack and help align it up.

Use rope over the engine a lift the frame.

Have three guys to help

Now the anti-roll bar moves up and down with no force, bushes look good and with no play...... Should the bar move up and down with ease?

Any tips with the subframe would be great!!

Just been doing this myself, have you still got the lower wishbones on the subframe?, I tried fitting it with them on but it nigh on doubles the weight, so I dropped them off and fitted it by myself with a trolley jack for support.

It was a bit of a wrangle to get it lined up but once a couple of bolts where in it was a doddle

I will be dropping my subframe as part of much needed suspension rebuild. Fortunately I will be using a two post lift for the job. I will be using some threaded bar, washers and nuts to help lower the frame enough to replace the anti roll bar and the lower arms. Just got to wait for my neighbour to get his Freelander out of the way....taking his time replacing the clutch on it!
