I am using a sud engine and gearbox with inboard brakes on my kit car. The car is mid engine so what were the front brakes are now the rear brakes.
On two occasions, the seals leak on the calipers.
I'm using DOT5 brake fluid
I am using independant master cylinders for front and rear brakes.
Does anyone know what is the maximum pressure that can be exerted on the calipers. I'm wondering if the single master cylinder is too powerful.
Thank you

Which seal or seals are leaking? There are a few on these calipers. Why are you using DOT5? And what is the master cylinder diameter?

Is this a track car or do you use it on the road? I would imagine a flexi pipe should burst way before a caliper seal fails. What do the seals look like after they've failed?

Definitely wouldn’t use DOT5 in anything... unless you really mean DOT5.1 , which is ok. Very confusing!

Most will be using normal DOT4 though.
