nice pick..looking for an estate i take it? ive nt driven them, but friend has 2.5 petrol man which he loves..no trouble at all..buts that's just anecdotal, i take it you've looked at j.d.power/what car? etc. sure it'll be a great choice
Whenever I see a GTB on the road they look very stiffly sprung. It's like watching a full size matchbox car go down the road.
I do like them though - but the stuff Honest John bit about the engines failing frightens me.
There's a nice silver saloon about 4 years old where I work and I often admire it. I could be talking out of my hat here but for me they have a classy, functional tastefulness that Audis in the 80s and early 90s had before they became shouty BMW-alikes.
Hmm, GTB, nice, but finding a decent unmolested one for £2K, which is my budget, that's tricky...
Heard conflicting stories about the 2.5 flat 4, a few threads on the Scoby/Legacy forums seem to suggest that only cars from the US were troublesome, the Japanse cars go on forever.
Don't do it! My wife has run a 2003 estate for the past 4 years and it costs at least £1400 a year in servicing & repairs for 25000m each year. It's not even nice to drive.
