i have a small problem with the stereo in my 156 since i have owned it, it never worked but the live and neutral was cutt (dunno why) so i connected them back up and i now have power to the headunit but it dosent do anything the light come on but all it shows on the screen is ---- and i cannot press any buttons to suggest a code being entered can anybody help me please?

i,v had that it,s either the incorrect code has been entered too many times and it needs a decode or it may clear if you leave it on for an hour and the word code appears,
