Stelvio 150w socket in boot

Hi ladies and gents can anyone shed any light on what you can connect to this socket in the boot.What adaptor do I need to fit in there to use normal uk plugs.sorry useless at electrical stuff.i want to be able to plug in my airbed for camping ideally.

Come on now, there are plenty of those things on ebay whichever type you want. Sourcing specific power supply would be both more expensive and would also mean you still can't plug there anything else.

I assume it needs this kind of adapter then?

Nope. None of those will convert a UK 3 pin to EU 2 pin.

As a Brit who has to deal with this issue all the time, the options are to swap the actual plug, the whole cable or the power supply itself for a Euro 2-pin one and then get a Euro 2-pin to UK 3-pin adaptor if you want to use it on the mains in the UK.


I actually have most of my kit with US plugs. And then add a US to EU or US to UK adaptor depending on where I'm going.

It is a bizarre state of affairs.

I believe it is a factory fit option specified when ordering your new car. I was told I could have the 12v socket as standard or pay extra (quite a bit extra) for the higher output jobbie. I couldn't see the point as I don't have any peripherals that would benefit from having it. I can still use my cooler box using the 12v socket.
