I've recently found a steering boss kit that fits all 916 GTV and Spiders. Their website link is:

I have their C1011 hub fitted with a Momo Nero steering wheel. Everything works perfectly, indicator cancels, hooter and no Airbag light so I'm very satisfied.

I quite like the idea of a fancy dan steering wheel with volume controls etc. for the stereo, anyone fitted something like that to a Gtv or spider?
