The stainless steel exhaust tips on the Abarth were looking tired and heavily stained with carbon, spent an hour cleaning and polishing them up and quite pleased with the results.
Pipes before i started.
Soaked for 10 minutes with Bilt Hamber wheelcleaner and agitated with a paint brush and medium coarse clay bar.
To get the inner edges cleaner as they were heavily stained with carbon i used 2000 grit wet n dry and again a clay bar with a mix of autoglym super resin polish and tar remover. Keep the metal well lubricated or you may haze the finish. Finally polished with brasso.
I also cleaned the outer casing with Brasso.
