I need to install my front windscreen washer pump so I got a universal pump that does not work.

Does the original pump have a back flow valve?

The universal pump works only if I first prime the line.

I have been told that all Sprint washer pumps are broken and new ones are non existent.

Is this true?

the pump is part of the washer bag , there was one on ebay last week! might still be on. If not try just suds or steve parry they are bound to have one!
