Afternoon All,

So I'm trying to change my rear boot badge and I've unscrewed all the torx bolts holding the boot liner on. There appear to be 2 or possibly more other points of attachment. I imagine pawn shaped poppers or something. I can't get them out and they seem to wiggle a bit side to side.

So is it just a case of brute force and wrench it off or am I missing something? I don't want to break something and add a rattle to an otherwise rattle free car.

Cheers :)

That will be the fir tree connectors sliding in their mount.
Careful leverage on them with long handled screwdriver (or the bespoke tool) should see them out.

Cheers

I've managed it so new badges all very shiny. I broke a piece of the black plastic cup section which slots round the white flattened peg thing. The exercise has drawn blood. What a horrid design.

Oh well. Live and learn and hope my wiper motor never packs up
