Just a quickie...how easy to change the oil in the torque converter of the sportronic gearbox ?????
I've changed the oil in the box itself, but still have some bizarre happenings when the oil is still cold...
On another note, what could have been a MAF problem was cured with a retiming of The belt which was probably replaced without the proper equipment...

gearbox and torque convertor are intergral, it just keeps the oil in when you drain the box. So your oil change will have only replaced < 50% of oil!
The only way you can do a full change is to have a reservoir of 10-15 litres dripping in thru the oil radiator feed to box sump and catching it on way out from pump, with engine running!
Or take the box apart.....

Its one of those if you plan it logically its not that difficult.
AlfaDiag handy though to check gearbox oil temp for final fill level.
