When i first got my Sprint i noticed the brakes weren't quite as responsive as my last car but as its only the 2nd car i've driven i put that down to vehicle difference.

My sister then drove my car last week and said my brake are terrible and suggested i call the dealer to have a look.

Before i do that i just wanted to know if anyone else thinks the brakes are spongy and unresponsive or if i probably do need to get them sorted?

They work in the end just need a bit of flooring before they actually stop properly!

It's petrol. Hmm im thinking there must be something up with them then! Im taking it in tomorrow for a check up!
Sounds like there might be a bit of air in the hydraulics- I used to do my own servicing and brake
bleeding needs to be meticulous to ensure a firm pedal feel. I hope yours are soon sorted

I find my Mito's brakes excellent- powerful, but not over-assisted like some of the French cars I
used to drive. (Having said that, the Mito needs to be switched to D mode each time, which is
annoying :tut: )

Coo ... glad Alfa paid for ours when it broke ... (something went inside when we pushed it back to save it getting ripped off in a car park! So it got changed under warranty. They are so big they are a target for idiots in 4x4s!)
