Hi All,

My 916 Spider electric window on the drivers side R/H has stopped working in the up position. I have proved out the fuses and the switch by reversing the L/H and R/H plugs, the switch works ok.
When I press the switch for down or up I hear a click.

Can anyone help with a suggestion please? I dread taking the door trim off as they always seem to never go back quite right!

I have the exact same problem on my GTV but the L/H window following a few frosty mornings (dont get those in Victoria !)

It turns out the motor had seized, due to lack of lubrication.
Power making it as far as the motor connector block, motor clicking and warming up (can be felt through body of motor)

Old unit removed and replaced with a second hand part from my TS breaker car, liberal lubrication applied, refitted, window stops adjusted and is now fully operational.
