Not sure if this is the correct area for this question but here goes.

I've a year 2000 spider with a leaky radiator. My friend has an 98 alfa 156 that is no longer wanted and is being sold for scrap. Before this happens though I'm wondering if I'd be able to salvage his radiator instead of shelling out for one. Is this possible?

Any help you guys could throw this way would be a great help.

Cheers

It probably wouldn't fit (although don't quote me on that) in addition how old is your friends radiator, they really should be replaced every 3-5 years as they do tend to deteriorate quite quickly, so if it's not new I really wouldn't bother ... when I replaced the rad on my 156 it only cost about £100 from my local auto factors ...

I agree with 156Chris. I had one go and spent money on all the radfix and things on the market just to give up and buy a new one!

I went to look a second hand one and it was a right state.

If a jobs worth doing, do it right. Buy a new and check all your pipes and clips too.

Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear.
