Hi, newbie here, so go easy on me...Hoping for some advice on my Spider 2.2 JTS 2007

She sat idle over the last few months as was in storage due to moving house. Battery died in bad weather. Jump started her enough to get home, everything working ok, then battery died when I needed to move her a few feet. Just before it died, dash went mad with warning lights etc and drivers seat auto moved into forward position and stopped, trapping me against steering wheel!

Charged battery, everything seems ok, no warning lights, starts etc all ok, except, seat won't budge, no power. Checked fuse, not blown. Doesn't seem to be a manual way of releasing seat.

Any ideas if it sounds like a motor failed?, or is there some crafty reset I can do, before I have to squeeze a child into the seat to drive it to the garage

Thanks

its sorted... spoke to a local friendly garage, simple fix worth knowing.

Disconnected battery terminals, held them together for 10 mins or so, then reconnected. This reset the power seats and now fully working!

Sometimes the simplest approach is the best.
