I've noticed with the hood up the spider seems to have a huge blind spot, its no worse than the boxster or TT roadster I test drove but it does worry me that you can't just look over your shoulder with the hood up as the view is obscured. The drivers side wing mirror has a wide angle part build in, but the passenger mirror doesn't. The BMW has it on both sides and that got me thinking. I assume left hand drive Spiders have the blind spot mirror on the left so could I just order that part and fit it? Does anyone know the part number, likely cost and how to fit it?

Thanks!

Hmm good thinking. Yes there is a typicaly roadster hood up blind spot which you need to get used to. Let me know if you get a part number. You should be able to look it up on that EPER database thingy.

I was ponderin the same a while back, simply as I do so much driving on the european Mway network and it would make it sooo much safer, but in the usual style the idea got 'filed'!!!
