I had a blown bulb on the speedo (156 1999) that was annoying me. Decided it's an easy fix. Removed the Speedo without any problem, took the back off, replaced the bulb, put it all back together .... Result - No bulbs are working..... so I replaced both bulbs again .... nothing! The speedo still works and the LCD mileometer is working.
Any idea what I've done wrong? Connector blocks are in firmly. Is there a fuse for those lights?
Thanks

I had to take the black outer casing off 'cos of my fat fingers. Would that have caused a problem?
All other lights work, except the boot lamp. Only other electrical issue is the normal erratic aircon/blower which has been with this car from new (have to reset it regularly - Full heat, #4 & demist)
