Anyone know if the space saver wheel off any other car will fit the 166?
I have 17 inch wheels fitted if that make a difference

I'm guessing no. It has to fit the bolt pattern. The brakes on the front are also quite big compared to many smaller cars and the wheel has to fit around it.

Maybe just get a cheap 16" alloy?
My Sporto has 17" horseshoes, but my spare is a regular 166 16" wheel.
So long as it is a V6 wheel, it will clear the brakes. The diameter is of course maintained by taller profile on the smaller wheel. Fits is the wheel well, fairly well but does raise the boot floor a little.

As above, a 16" alloy and normal tyre is a much better bet than a skinny spare.

Usually reasonably easy to find a single wheel if you are not too fussed what it looks like.

My car is running on LPG so looking for the space saver but seem to remember someone saying that a Jag's space saver fitted but I can't remember which model.

5x108mm is the PCD you need.
Probably Jag "X Type", which share a lot with Ford Mondeo, which are also 5x108mm PCD.

Not sure on the centre-bore though.
