Good to meet you UM, wife was please to meet the A272 wave!

Southern Alfa Day was superb, I'm surprised no one has posted anything or any photos, after all there were 150 cars there in the sunshine ranging from 2 superb cars from 1929 and 1932 right up to a brand new 4C Spider and everything in between. You can just see the yellow 4C Spider in one of the photos.

I'll make no excuses for posting 3 photos of one car, but this 1929 8C 2900 by Touring was just superb. It had been subject to a 3 year ground up restoration having been found in dry storage in the USA. its early life whilst there saw it engined with Chevy and Cadillac motors whilst being used as a hot rod! The power is now provided by a Jim Stokes faithful reproduction. The current owner believes the original engine is in Australia and he aims to try to recover it.
