Ok driving home on my commute last night I am driving along listening to ma choons (as my 14 year old would say)

Suddenly about 10 mins from home there is a deathly silence

No sounds from sytstem

I check ipod - no is still playing
I check fm transmitter for iPod - no is all ok
I change station no radio
No CD
No Cassette

I think oh bugger!

So drive home in silence although not that bad as I can hear the engine note better

This morning I get in the car and blammo all sounds working again

Could something have overheated?

I have no idea.

Could it be related to the iPhone?

I.e...when you listen you the pod you need the volume turned up, therefore needs more ooopth which may cause it to overheat? I dunno......just a suggestion if that's the case

I've had the same intermittent but rare problem with my 12 year old 166, no Iphone, never found the solution...:
