What is the clutch supposed to be like on these cars? It feels light and the biting point is kind of vague. The problem is this is my first car so the only thing I can compare it to is the diesel Fiesta I learnt in. In the Fiesta the clutch was much heavier and it was obvious where the biting point was (car needed no throttle at all to move once you hit it). It felt a lot more positive in the Fiesta. Is it just me or is something wrong?

How many miles has it covered?

It's hard to describe - we have a Fiesta (12 plate, done about 16k) and a mito (done about 30k) and the fiesta's clutch feels much "springier" and when driving it I feel like the biting point is much higher in it than in my mito.

No two cars' clutches are going to feel exactly the same. My wife's old 147 1.6TS had the world's heaviest clutch, my 156 2.0 JTS has a nice smooth, light clutch, and her new Mito's clutch is even lighter.
