Hi,

gave her a nice wash, dry, auto glym polish, hoover and clean. until I paid close attention to all the stone chips and touch ups done by previous owner  and new ones.... bloody mess! Stone chips by the arches, doors , need mud flaps now , huge scratch on the bonnet by possibly a small bird  car's not far from a complete respray .

think i'll have to get some, spirit, 2 pack touch up paint, spend some time over a week and slowly fill these chips in, flatten then another polish.

I also noticed that the centre alfa triangle has bits of silver flaking off and bubbling, also the silver around the headlights is starting to bubble up. bit concerned here. Any ideas?

i did have a look at chipEx a while back.

has anyone used it to treat slightly bigger chips? if so, what sort of results you got?

also will it leave a glossy finish or kind satin/matt finish?
