Can anyone tell me how to get the sill cover plate/rubber seal off , once all the self tappers are removed ?

Rob , pull the seal out of the cover track and you should see some screws holding the cover down.....

Ah , thanks KBeere . I did wonder whether I dare pull that out in case I couldn't refit the damn thing ! A job for tomorrow.
