How do they come off?
The book shows them just sliding out away from the car.
I have yanked at them quite hard and they don't budge! Am terrified of snapping it!

Any knack to it, or am I just a weakling::rolleyes:

Usually pull down.

(although I admit I've only removed them from a normal 156, never a GTA)

They pull out horizontally. Quite a lot of crap from the road accumulates around them so once you have eased them out, give them a good wash (and the housings in the side skirts too). It may help them come free if you give the area a good soaking to soften any of the aforesaid crap.

WOuldn't surprise me if someone has glued yours in place.
I had one fall off my GTA, retrieved it and as it wasd going in to the dealers anyway asked them to re-paint it. When I got it back they'd glued it in place. Fair play on making sure it doesn't fall off again lads, but what happens when I need to jack up the car?
(it wasn't glue exactly - not sure what it was, but a bit of a tug broke it free)
