Been in to Dave and his merry men at Intaservices ,cannot recommend them enough tbh, could have been ripped off but honest and trustworthy guys......(just wish they looked after Ducati's lol)

On a more serious note , l live 90% of my time in Poland and have had found a company that will transfer the steering into a left hooker , has anyone done it?, has anyone tried it .( The reason for it is that l work in Iraq and hardly drive anyway so l wouldn't mind moving the car full time to Poland but if l do it has to be a left hooker so that l can tax, insure, and MOT it etc.

Any info would be most welcome fellas!.

Kevski.

You'd be far better off selling your GTA and buying a left hand drive one. The conversions are never as good as the factory originals.

In fact, looking at the pics of my 156 race car's bulkhead, I'm not convinced its possible, even with all the relevant LHD parts. You need somewhere to mount the master cylinders for the clutch and brakes and I don't thing a RHD bulkead will allow this and I'm not sure I'd trust the poles to do it...

I sent a RHD bare shell to Latvia to replace a badly crash damaged LHD one, I think the bulkhead had to be cut out and replaced on it with the LHD one to do the conversion. I'm certain this would be a major job, and agree with you on it probably not being worth the effort.

Given that EVERYTHING is efectively hung off the bulkhead, that sounds like a total bodge!

It seemed from the pictures like it was almost just a 'skin', and the main structural part was behind it. The skin just served as mounting points for the brake servo, steering column etc. From what I saw it didn't look too bad..
