Spent the afternoon putting joke off-centre white
stripe decals on a Daihatsu Trevia for a mate's
wife's birthday present.

He bought her the little runaround
for 11K Euros.

It's like a cross between an Austin Mini
and a London Cab.

The price included a 5 year warranty and
free servicing. Only Tyres will cost extra.

How come Alfa can't offer such a deal!?!

Agreed, but I think they could learn a lot about after sales packages.

I think the Trevis is the spiritual successor to the original mini.

Cheap, simple, practical. And I'd never buy one.

I don't think it is the cars that need a warrenty (alfa's) but the dealers need a year's training in dealing with customers . Its in their best interest imho. And its not just confined to the UK

What Dermo said :)

Plus, when the Koreans and Japanese started selling cars, they had horrible reliability issues. But they fixed them.

Let's hope the renewed factory at Pomigliano D'Arco will deliver the build quality that Alfa needs and deserves!
