Hmm... (pre-facelift 156 selespeed)

This is a new one; There are no reported faults in the selespeed of a friend's car, or abnormalities in settings, and using the knob is fine but paddles have a strange behavior;

They refuse to change gears at higher than ~2600 rpm

I keep testing stuff. Changing the switches did not do anything. Must be a short somewhere?

Since this issue has never happened before, looks like a bad wiring or shortcircuit somewhere odd.

Please share your thoughts and input

Two main things you need to get it on some diagnostics to see what is happening and second without any other info is the oil level ok and does it have a leak ? Could well be electronic but could be oil pressure related

No faults in the selespeed (expecting invalid signal from switch or etc.) The hydraulic system is working since my knob is, as I said, fantastic.

I'm stumped
