Hi everyone!

I have short question. In which way should potentiometer rotates (if we look at the picture below). According to a clockwise direction or not? As far as I know, there are two kinds of devices. Thanks in advance.

Afaik there is only one type of sensor. And you can only move it in one direction. because of the spring it should snap back after release. If it does not, then its faulty.

There is the PF1C and the PF2C version. The correct one is the PF2C. Output drive direction is clockwise when viewed from the mounting face of the sensor.

Thank you for informations. I have also disassembled few parts in my car to read parameters. Now I know that I have bought a wrong type - PF1C/00. My mistake. Now I am waiting for proper one. I assume that the range of resistance is the same for each PF2C/00, Am I right?
