Scally Rally HQ
20th January 2010

Dear Alfa Owners,
We are writing to introduce ourselves to you and tell you a little more about Scally Rally.

Scally Rally is a car rally in its 5th year in 2010. We have 3 amazing routes open to any car purchased for £100 or less.

To celebrate our anniversary we have added a new event to our calendar this year based on the classic Mille Miglia route. This event differs from our other routes in that there are specific entry criteria:
Mille Miglia Requirement 1 –Your car must be the same marque as those that competed in the original events from 1927-1957.
Mille Miglia Requirement 2 –MM will include the following applicable classes:
Historic class Cars that are UK road tax exempt (reg. before 1st Jan 1973)
Modern class Cars purchased for £500 or less.

With Alfa being on the original list we hope that this may appeal to you and with 2010 being the Centenary year for Alfa Romeo, we know that there are lots of events running but hope that Scally Rally may appeal to those people on a budget that want to take their Alfa's for a run in the mountains with like minded people.
We look forward to hearing what you think.

Kind regards,

Sue Thacker

I did last year's Scally Rally of Ireland, and should be doing the Europe rally this year.
For anyone thinking of doing it, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
It's a great experience, great fun and a great challenge.
The organisation Sue and Neil do is fantastic and from what I have heard from people who have done other organisation's events, The Scally is by far the best organised event around.

The Mille Miglia is a different sort of event than the usual rallies, but I'd bet my house that anyone choosing to enter will not regret it.

Go for it!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks John, it's good to hear you enjoyed yourself last year !

We're excited about our 2010 events and hope that we do see some £500 Alfa's at the start (and finish) !

Cheers

Sue
