Went big and bought a 55" samsung.
Thought through....NOT in the least!

Did it fit in the 156 Saloon?? Did it f#[email protected]!
The scene in Silverburn car park must have been quite comical to passers by, as i struggled to fit it in. Then, a very kind Chinese gentleman offered to help. He spoke no English...i speak none of the chinese dialects either!
Comedy sketch continued for a further 10mins.
Then i went back into tesco and purchased some rope(in fact it was string about 2mm diameter) and proceeded to haul the tv into the boot. With about 2 feet sticking out the back, i wound ALL of what can only be described as twine, over the open boot and under the suspension and exhaust fixings.

Proceeded to drive home....VERY carefully, VERY hopefully that no officers of the law seen my makeshift accident waiting to happen.

Muscled the damn thing into the living room only to find its too big for my existing tv cabinet!!

Its now in the garage ?

Have to admit to having a little giggle reading this story....we are still in the prehistoric ages....and have no reason to change our main TV....32" LED....does the job with a great wee picture...the room ain't big enogh for one of those monstrosities.

Anyone confess to having a smaller main screen TV than 32" ? ;)

We are quite happy with our 32” B&O Smart TV.
Not after immersive experience but good picture and sound without extra speakers.

My 50 inch tv won't fit in a Fiesta, but will happily slide into my Robin. Can't fit anything in a 156 saloon, except 1.5 tonnes of pasta. I did the maths, it will go.

One of our daughters went to buy a replacement 32" TV which had broken.

She couldn't find one (or at least a SMART one) as they don't make them that small anymore apparently - so she had to get 48" one.

Blimey a 17" CRT was the bees knees in my day.
That said we have bought a hand held size projector which goes to 100"+ and it is great.

Bought a 65" on the whim and I had a MINI Clubman in the Costco car park.... came to load and was impossible.. called a frined in a range Rover to rescue. Got home and was too big for room:jester:.... don't ask but moved the settee a bit further back and renewed my Specsavers membership.. who says size doesn't matter:titanic:

Mine is 32"

Don't like a huge black rectangle dominating the room when the TV's switched off.
Our is 32" too.

It is in a corner on a moveable bracket. When not being used it folds against the side wall and become unobtrusive.

When opened out it is at an angle between the two walls so perfectly viewable.
