I'm looking for a replacement wooden steering wheel for my S2 1974 Spider. The original has turned blonde with age and because it was in dry storage for a long period before I bought it, it has cracked and split in places. I'm told its easier to replace than to restore. Any help appreciated.

plenty for sale from the usual suspercts (Highwood, Classicalfa, Alfaholics, EB Spares) plus check ebay.

If you have the time, restoring is still an option.

Thanks Harryf. Tried a few of those suggested but they don't have any. There is one on ebay for £950 which is way above budget. Will keep trawling.

950 quid for a wheel? that is utter nuts!

What type of wood wheel is yours at the moment?
If it is a "personal", then here is a very decent looking wood personal on ebay france for 99 starting bid! (dated 1972). OK he states postage to france only, but usually if you mail them, they will post abroad.
2 day to go.
